In Friday's non-league bout, the Gosnell Pirates (Gosnell, AR) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rivercrest Colts (Wilson, AR), by a score of 11-1.

Next up, the Pirates encounter the Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 10. Gosnell will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Riverside (Lake City, AR).
