The Granbury Pirates baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Odessa Bronchos to 0 in the Pirates non-league win on Friday.

The Pirates now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Timber Creek for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Granbury will play a Falcons team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Argyle (Argyle, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 7-4.

With the defeat, Odessa drops to 6-9 on the year. The Bronchos travel to Memorial (Wichita Falls, TX) to play the Mavericks in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 6-3. Memorial won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Granbury (Granbury, TX)
