Louisiana High School Baseball - Southside prevails North Vermilion

The Southside Sharks baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting North Vermilion Patriots to 4 in the Sharks non-league win on Friday.
The Sharks now hold a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sulphur for a 5A District 3 test on Tuesday, March 11. Southside will play a Golden Tors team coming off a 12-3 non-league loss to Central (Baton Rouge, LA). The Golden Tors record now stands at 5-10.
With the defeat, North Vermilion drops to 9-9 on the year. The Patriots host Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA) to play the Broncos in a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. The Broncos go into the test with a record of 13-3. Sam Houston lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA)
