Prairie Grove Tigers (Prairie Grove, AR) supporters went home thrilled Friday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the visiting Star City Bulldogs (Star City, AR), 6-4 in a non-league test.
The Tigers now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nashville for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Prairie Grove will play a Scrappers team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Shiloh Christian (Springdale, AR). The Scrappers record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Star City moves to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to White Hall (White Hall, AR) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 11. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 1-2.
