Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC), 6-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Spartanburg advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Blythewood (Blythewood, SC) to battle the Bengals in a non-league match on Saturday, March 8. The Bengals come into the match with a record of 0-0.

The Gators now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairfield Central for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 12.
