West Virginia High School Basketball - Philip Barbour nudges Braxton County

March 7, 2025: Sutton, WV 26601

Spectators at Friday's non-league game between the Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) and the host Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV), saw Philip Barbour's basketball team nip Braxton County by a tally of 55-50.

The Colts now possess a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Ritchie County for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 12. Philip Barbour will play a Rebels team coming off a 55-46 non-league win over South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV). The Rebels record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, Braxton County falls to 14-8 on the campaign.
