In Friday's non-league match, the Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Cubs battle the Beckman Patriots (Irvine, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 8. Loyola will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 11-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA).
