Washington High School Basketball - North Thurston can't hold off Lakeside

Lakeside Lions (Seattle, WA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA), 42-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lakeside advances its record to 25-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA) to face the Bears in a non-league match on Saturday, March 8. The Bears enter the match with a record of 25-0. Central Valley won 45-37 in their recent non-league match against Kennewick (Kennewick, WA)
The Rams now own a 28-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garfield for a non-league match on Saturday, March 8. North Thurston will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 52-30 non-league win over Stanwood (Stanwood, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-9.
