The Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL) lacrosse routed the host NSU University Sharks (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 13-7 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Lightning now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boca Raton for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 12. Cypress Bay will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 13-9 non-league loss to Cardinal Gibbons (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, NSU University falls to 3-5 on the year. The Sharks travel to Western (Davie, FL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Monday, March 10. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 7-0. Western won 8-4 in their recent non-league outing against West Broward (Pembroke Pines, FL)
