Fans at Friday's league battle between the East Hall Vikings (Gainesville, GA) and the host West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), saw East Hall's soccer squad knock off West Hall by a count of 4-1.

The Vikings (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Habersham Central tipped Alcovy (Covington, GA), 10-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) in a 3A Region 8 battle, on Tuesday, March 11. West Hall will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 9-0 league win over Monroe Area (Monroe, GA).
