In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting John Paul II Catholic Saints soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Northern Nash Knights.
The Saints (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Nash Central got by SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC), 12-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Knights play the Bunn Wildcats (Bunn, NC) in a The Big East 2A/3A outing, on Monday, March 10. Northern Nash will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC).
