Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) and the visiting Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA), saw Lumpkin County's soccer squad knock off Stephens County by a count of 8-6.

The Indians (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Trojans enter the 3A Region 6 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, North Hall by Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Indians battle the White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 11. Stephens County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 4-1 league loss to Pickens (Jasper, GA).
