Georgia High School Soccer - Oconee County knocks off Monroe Area

The Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) soccer overwhelmed the host Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA), 9-0 in Friday's league outing.
The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Spartans go into the 3A Region 8 outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, West Hall was overwhelmed by East Hall (Gainesville, GA), 4-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Purple Hurricanes confront the Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 11. Monroe Area will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Seminoles go into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Columbia (Decatur, GA).
