Arizona High School Baseball - Desert View loses to Rio Rico

Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ), 13-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Rio Rico moves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Hawks travel to Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Nighthawks in a non-league match on Monday, March 10. The Nighthawks come into the match with a record of 1-0.

The Jaguars now possess a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain View for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 11. Desert View will battle a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 6-6 non-league Mica Mountain (Tucson, AZ). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 2-1.
