The Sweeny Bulldogs (Sweeny, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX), 9-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Brazosport for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11.
With the defeat, Lamar Consolidated drops to 2-7 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Columbia (West Columbia, TX) to clash with the Roughnecks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 8. The Roughnecks go into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
