North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Apex Friendship overwhelms Croatan

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Apex Friendship Patriots lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-9 triumph over the Croatan Cougars.
The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks go into the contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Holly Springs held off Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 7-2, in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to First Flight for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 8. Croatan will encounter a Nighthawks team coming off a 9-5 non-league win over East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 1-0.
