Fans at Friday's non-league test between the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) and the host West Field Longhorns (Taylor, UT), witnessed Maple Mountain's lacrosse squad hold off West Field by a count of 6-5.

The Golden Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT). The Sentinels enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Mountain Ridge was nipped by Wasatch (Heber City, UT), 10-8, in a non-league test.

Next, the Longhorns battle the Olympus Titans (Salt Lake City, UT) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 12. West Field will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Titans enter the test with a 2-0 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Lone Peak (Highland, UT).
