California High School Lacrosse - Monte Vista Christian drops to Live Oak

March 7, 2025: Morgan Hill, CA 95037

Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA), 18-4 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Live Oak improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Acorns travel to Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA) to play the Padres in a non-league game on Friday, March 21. The Padres come into the game with a record of 4-0.

The Mustangs now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aptos for a PCAL - Mission game on Monday, March 10. Monte Vista Christian will play a Mariners team coming off a 19-13 non-league loss to Soquel (Soquel, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 0-2.
