St. Xavier Tigers (Louisville, KY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Memphis University School Owls (Memphis, TN), 17-6 in a non-league battle.

With the victory, St. Xavier advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Carmel (Carmel, IN) to battle the Greyhounds in a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. The Greyhounds enter the test with a record of 0-0.

Next, the Owls battle the Western Reserve Academy Pioneers (Hudson, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 8. Memphis University School will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Pioneers enter the test with a 1-0 record after their 22-11 league win over SPIRE Academy (Geneva, OH).
