The Eastside Eagles soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Ola Mustangs to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Loganville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 11. Eastside will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Ola moves to 1-3 on the year. The Mustangs host Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA) to play the Tigers in a 5A Area 2 bout on Tuesday, March 11. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Stockbridge won 4-3 in their recent league bout against McDonough (McDonough, GA)
