The M.L. King Lions soccer team (Lithonia, GA), was overwhelmed 10-2 in Friday's league match with the host Forest Park Panthers (Forest Park, GA)

With the triumph, Forest Park moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Midtown (Atlanta, GA) to meet the Knights in a 4A Area 3 match on Tuesday, March 11. The Knights come into the match with a record of 2-5. Midtown won 2-0 in their recent league match against Drew (Riverdale, GA)

The Lions now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mays for a 6A Area 3 match on Tuesday, March 11. M.L. King will meet a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Creekside (Fairburn, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-3.
