The Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX) soccer nipped the visiting Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX), 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Buffaloes now hold a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to East Central for a 6A Region 4 District 29 challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Clemens will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Johnson (Buda, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 5-12.
With the loss, Alexander moves to 13-9 on the year. The Bulldogs host United (Laredo, TX) to encounter the Longhorns in a 6A Region 4 District 30 challenge on Wednesday, March 12. The Longhorns go into the challenge with a record of 18-7. United won 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX)
