North Carolina High School Softball - Mount Pleasant bounces Anson

March 7, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) and the visiting Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), observed Mount Pleasant's softball team prevail over Anson by a tally of 12-2.

The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Knights go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A bout with a 2-2 record.

In their next game, the Bearcats clash with the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A bout, on Tuesday, March 11. Anson will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Redhawks go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 17-0 league loss to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC).
