Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada (Conway, SC), 8-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Midland Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mustangs host Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC) to play the War Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, March 10. The War Eagles enter the game with a record of 2-0. Gray Collegiate Academy won 12-5 in their recent non-league game against James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC)
The Armada now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Franklin Road Academy for a non-league game on Monday, March 10.
