New Mexico High School Softball - Canyon gets by La Cueva

March 7, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87122

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Canyon Comanches softball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the La Cueva Bears.

The Comanches (8-1) will now prepare for their match against El Modena (Orange, CA). The Vanguards go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, El Modena tipped Westlake (Westlake Village, CA), 8-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bears battle the St. Joseph Knights (Santa Maria, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 7. La Cueva will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Knights go into the match with a 3-1 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ).
