Texas High School Softball - Castleberry bested by Ponder

March 7, 2025: Fort Worth, TX 76114

The Ponder Lions triumphed over the host Castleberry Lions softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge, on Monday, March 10. Ponder will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 21-0 league win over Callisburg (Gainesville, TX).

The Lions (4-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Decatur (Decatur, TX). The Eagles enter the 4A Region I District 8 challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Decatur was routed by Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX), 13-9, in a non-league challenge.
