In Friday's non-league match, the host San Angelo Central Bobcats softball team scored a tight 15-14 victory over the Cooper Cougars.
The Bobcats (8-7) will now prepare for their match against Monahans (Monahans, TX). The Loboes go into the non-league match with a 7-4 record.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 11. Cooper will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 18-2 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Levelland (Levelland, TX).
