Arizona High School Softball - Desert View bounces Rio Rico

March 7, 2025: Tucson, AZ 85706

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ), observed Desert View's softball team notch a victory over Rio Rico by a final score of 16-0.

The Jaguars (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Mountain View (Tucson, AZ). The Mountain Lions go into the non-league bout with a 8-1 record. In their last bout, Mountain View gained a win over Mica Mountain (Tucson, AZ), 9-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 10. Rio Rico will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 17-2 non-league win over ALA - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ).
