Louisiana High School Softball - Singer bounces Elton

The Singer Hornets softball team scored 22 runs and held the host Elton Indians to 14 in the Hornets non-league win on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pickering for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 8. Singer will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Anacoco (Anacoco, LA). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Elton moves to 1-4 on the season. The Indians travel to Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA) to confront the Hornets in a 2A District 5 battle on Tuesday, March 11. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 5-5.
