Texas High School Softball - Harlingen edges La Feria

In Friday's non-league bout, the host Harlingen Cardinals softball team scored a tight 8-6 victory over the La Feria Lions.
The Cardinals (9-7) will now prepare for their bout against Lyford (Lyford, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 3-7 record.
In their next game, the Lions clash with the Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 32 bout, on Monday, March 10. La Feria will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Tarpons go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 17-7 non-league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX).
