Louisiana High School Softball - Haughton gets by Ouachita Parish

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Haughton Buccaneers (Haughton, LA) and the host Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA), observed Haughton's softball team get by Ouachita Parish by a tally of 12-11.

The Buccaneers (5-7) will now prepare for their bout against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 9-1 record.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 8. Ouachita Parish will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 13-2 non-league win over Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA).
