In Friday's non-league test, the Sheridan Yellowjackets (Sheridan, AR) softball squad overwhelmed the host Lonoke Jackrabbits (Lonoke, AR), by a tally of 13-5.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Lake Hamilton Wolves (Pearcy, AR) in a 5A South test, on Tuesday, March 11. Sheridan will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Wolves go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Arkansas (Texarkana, AR).

The Jackrabbits (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Central Arkansas Christian (North Little Rock, AR). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Central Arkansas Christian was routed by Central (Little Rock, AR), 13-4, in a non-league test.
