In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Pine Raiders softball team scored a tight 15-10 win over the Slaughter Community Charter Knights.
The Raiders (2-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA). The Falcons come into the non-league match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, St. Thomas Aquinas was routed by Sumner (Kentwood, LA), 19-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Knights confront the Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 8. Slaughter Community Charter will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Wolves come into the match with a 7-0 record after their 18-3 non-league win over Hammond (Hammond, LA).
