Mississippi High School Softball - West Lauderdale bounces Stone

The West Lauderdale Knights softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Stone Tomcats to 5 in the Knights non-league win on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poplarville for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 8. West Lauderdale will confront a Hornets team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over West Harrison (Gulfport, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Stone moves to 6-5 on the season. The Tomcats host Clarkdale (Meridian, MS) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 7-3.
