The Big Spring Steers baseball team (Big Spring, TX), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX)

The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Littlefield (Littlefield, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region I District 2 battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Littlefield held off San Jacinto Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX), 10-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Steers face the Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 battle, on Tuesday, March 10. Big Spring will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 5-5 non-league Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX).
