In Saturday's non-league bout, the Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA) baseball squad edged the host Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA), by a tally of 5-4.

Next up, the Pioneers encounter the Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 13. Cupertino will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
