The Singer Hornets baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Fairview Panthers to 6 in the Hornets non-league win on Saturday.
The Hornets now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaGrange for a non-league test on Monday, March 9. Singer will clash with a Gators squad coming off a 23-8 non-league loss to Reeves (Reeves, LA). The Gators record now stands at 0-8.
The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Midland (Midland, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Midland edged Reeves (Reeves, LA), 7-4, in a non-league outing.
