Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL), 13-9 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Magnolia Heights moves its record to 9-1 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS) to battle the Raiders in a MAIS 4A District 1 match on Saturday, March 7. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 9-2. Jackson Academy won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS)

The Warriors now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chilton County for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 10. Thompson will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 24-0 non-league loss to American Christian Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-8.
