Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Granger Lancers (West Valley City, UT), 10-6 in a non-league match.

The Bengals (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Maple Mountain was routed by Boise (Boise, ID), 6-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Lancers battle the Green Canyon Wolfpack (North Logan, UT) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 7. Granger will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Wolfpack come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 20-4 non-league win over Lake Mead Christian Academy (Henderson, NV).
