California High School Softball - Helix bounces Montgomery

March 7, 2026: La Mesa, CA 91941

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Helix Highlanders softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Montgomery Aztecs.

The Highlanders (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Southwest EC (El Centro, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Southwest EC notched a victory over Bayfront Charter (Chula Vista, CA), 17-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Aztecs battle the San Diego Cavers (San Diego, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 10. Montgomery will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Cavers enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Sweetwater (National City, CA).
