California High School Baseball - Ponderosa loses to McClatchy

March 8, 2022: Shingle Springs, CA 95682

The Ponderosa Bruins baseball team (Shingle Springs, CA), was overwhelmed 5-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA)

The Lions now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Christian Brothers for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 10. McClatchy will face a Falcons team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.

Next, the Bruins face the Alpha Charter Angels (Elverta, CA) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, March 9. Ponderosa will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Angels enter the outing with a 3-0 record after their 17-0 non-league win over El Camino (Sacramento, CA).
