Arkansas High School Baseball - Quitman loses to Newport

The Newport Greyhounds baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Quitman Bulldogs to 2 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Heber Springs was overwhelmed by Beebe (Beebe, AR), 11-4, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR). The Warhawks go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
