The North Gaston Wildcats baseball team (Dallas, NC), was tipped 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC)

The Knights now hold a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory for a Western Foothills 3A outing on Tuesday, March 15. North Lincoln will confront a Red Tornadoes team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 2-2.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 11. North Gaston will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Crusaders go into the outing with a 2-0 record after their 6-5 non-league win over SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC).
