In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Wayne Country Day Chargers baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans.
The Chargers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Wake County HomeSchool (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Wake County HomeSchool tipped New Life Camp (Raleigh, NC), 6-5, in a non-league game.
The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their game against High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, High Point Christian Academy was edged by Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC), 5-1, in a non-league game.
