The Oceanside Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting La Jolla Country Day Torreys to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Pirates now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Marcos for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 9. Oceanside will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Pacific Ridge (Carlsbad, CA). The Knights record now stands at 8-1.

The Torreys (5-9) will now prepare for their game against Santa Fe Christian (Solana Beach, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Santa Fe Christian gained a win over Mission Vista (Oceanside, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
