The Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the host Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes to 5 in the Chiefs non-league win on Tuesday.
The Chiefs (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Cooper City (Cooper City, FL). The Cowboys go into the non-league match with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Cooper City was overwhelmed by Miami Country Day (Miami, FL), 11-6, in a non-league contest.
