In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Novato Hornets lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-5 victory over the Casa Grande Gauchos.
The Hornets now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host California for a non-league test on Friday, March 11. Novato will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 20-1 non-league win over Campolindo (Moraga, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-2.
In their next game, the Gauchos face the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles (Concord, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 12. Casa Grande will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
