The South Effingham Mustangs lacrosse team scored 14 points and held the host Johnson Atomsmashers to 5 in the Mustangs non-league win on Tuesday.

The Mustangs (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA). The Wildcats go into the 1A-5A Area 8 match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Richmond Hill was overwhelmed by Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA), 16-14, in a non-league match.

The Atomsmashers (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Calvary Day (Savannah, GA). The Cavaliers go into the 1A-5A Area 8 match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Calvary Day was overwhelmed by Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA), 5-4, in a non-league match.
