California High School Softball - Banning Mary Star of the Sea

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA), by a margin of 7-2.

With the triumph, Mary Star of the Sea moves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Stars host Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA) to play the Sea Hawks in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 9. The Sea Hawks come into the contest with a record of 5-7. Redondo Union lost 5-4 in their recent non-league contest against Grand Terrace (Grand Terrace, CA)
