California High School Softball - Chowchilla bounces Mariposa County

The Chowchilla Tribe the visiting Mariposa County Grizzlies softball squad by a count of 6-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Tribe (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Golden Valley (Merced, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Golden Valley nudged Madera (Madera, CA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.

The Grizzlies now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rio Linda for a non-league battle on Friday, March 11. Mariposa County will meet a Knights squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to West (Tracy, CA). The Knights record now stands at 4-2.
